My name is William Black, a retired policeman. Decades ago, my fiancée, Nina Green, was mysteriously murdered. Perhaps that's why I chose a career in law enforcement. During my active years, I exposed many murderers, but for a long time I made no headway in Nina's case. Then, through a series of coincidences, I realized something. Someone is systematically murdering the members of the Green family. I spent years investigating the case, and now I'm sure that one of the family members is the culprit. One family member carries a terrible curse that has not burdened anyone for generations. The horror of madness. There was only one old family photo I could start with. Of the seven people in the photo, one is a murderer, and six are victims.
